Our Vision for Science at Brownhills West Primary School
At Brownhills West, we inspire every child to nurture a lifelong curiosity about the world and universe around them, alongside a deep respect for all living things and our natural environment. We celebrate children’s natural sense of wonder and nurture this inquisitive spirit throughout their school journey, through exciting, practical, and enjoyable science lessons. We are passionate about building strong knowledge and ‘Working Scientifically’ skills for every learner, empowering children to ask thoughtful questions, test their ideas, observe carefully, reason confidently, and communicate what they discover. We want all our children to grow into confident, capable scientists who understand how science shapes our lives, value teamwork and honesty, and feel inspired to explore the world further.
