Our Mission Statement:
We nurture, inspire and educate our children in a happy, safe and supportive learning environment where emotional well-being, rounded education and striving for excellence are at the centre of everything we do. Working in partnership with our families and local community, we aim to raise aspirations and for every child to be the best they can be. We equip our children with confidence, a curiosity for learning and skills that will enable them to make positive contributions to the ever changing world.

Character Education:
At Brownhills West Primary School, we believe that education is about more than learning. It is also about who our children are becoming.
The Ray of Character is our Character Education programme, which helps children develop the qualities they need to become kind, confident and responsible individuals.
Our programme is built around our three core values: Responsibility, Belonging and Ambition. Through assemblies, classroom activities and everyday experiences, children learn how to make positive choices, care for others, work together and keep going when things are difficult.
We want every child to understand our values and put them into practice, both in school and beyond. By working together with families, we aim to help our children grow into thoughtful, respectful and ambitious individuals who make a positive difference to the world around them.

At Brownhills West, we encourage all children to ‘Dream Big’ in everything they do. We want children to tackle their learning with determination and resilience and develop the self-belief that they can achieve anything. Staff provide fun and exciting learning opportunities and challenges across the whole school. We want our children to leave school being ready for the next milestone in their learning journey and become a responsible citizen who is prepared for this ever changing world.
